With your host John A. Costa, my background in journalism was reading the comics in our local newspaper and never doing a Crossword, Jumble or Crypto. I do have my opinions which are always right and make the most sense.

Most of the books I have read are now banned and since they stopped publishing Playboy Magazine, I have stopped reading almost all together.

I did work at CBS Television from 1980 through 2016, starting in the Construction Engineering Department where I was 1 of about 50 Broadcast Engineers tasked with building, installing and testing broadcast electronics, with some of the most talented engineers in the industry. I also traveled to many sporting and news event in support of the CBS Sports and CBS News.

In 1990 I was asked if I would become a supervisor in the CBS Network Master Control Department and worked with 13 at that time, of the most seasoned production professional’s engineers in the business who took me under their wings and worked their till I retired in 2016.

In 1982 I was asked to help with our union (IBEW Local 1212) with some committee projects which lead to my being appointed to our Executive Board and then being elected to that position until 2016. In my position at our union, I worked with negotiations committees and other committees to enhance minority member training and women’s issues in the workplace.

Also, in 1982 I was asked to work with our union Credit Union, IBEW Local 1212 FCU, which later became the Radio Television and Communications FCU as Secretary, President, and the CFO Treasurer. Of course, my family always supported me but the men and woman who I worked with truly shaped the person I became, and words can never express the gratitude I for them all not only in my union experience but with management as well.
